School wasn't easy. Imagine multiple papers, medication tests that must be passed at 98% to prevent failure out of the program, and not to mention the six hour clinicals twice a week on top of lectures and labs. Time with family and friends was non-existent. I somehow squeezed in a job as a nurse apprentice during what I call "this whole mess". It was nursing school, but my hard work paid off. I immediately landed a job upon graduating. At the same time, my little faithful '91 Mazda took it's final agonal breath.
I considered another Mazda, only to find out they are now made by Ford. My family has owned many Fords. they never last. I considered the better deals, Kia, Chevrolet, etc, but I wasn't comfortable with the prospect of having to begin replacing parts on a regular basis at 100,000 miles or less. Not to mention, I really wanted all wheel drive, clearance, and damn the new Subaru looked so tempting!
I arrived at the dealership to salespeople
who put no pressure on me. I qualified for the New Graduate Program landing me
an interest rate I wasn't going to get anywhere else. The purchasing process
was simple, and before I knew it, I'd bought myself the ultimate graduation
present.
Thank you Subaru of Las Vegas!
